SPED Party Follow-up

Bud is still Gay !

There really isn't anything to add to this topic.

Bud injured in freak caber tossing incident

The Highland Games Festival took a turn for the bizarre during the caber toss competition.

The competition was proceeding as usual with the first tosser Dr. Dave.  His toss was a little less than 3 feet.

Things got strange however during the toss of Terry Smith.  His first toss was an uneventful 2 feet. On his second toss he appeared to lose control of his caber and in a moment of panic and desperation heaved the caber like one might throw a 80 pound bag of dog food.

The caber (Bud) fell to the ground like a rag doll - a hairy, skinny rag doll - with a resounding thump that stopped the entire proceedings.

After being administered by our crack medical staff (Dr. Dave), the festivities continued but the caber toss event was cancelled.

The caber is recovered now but has issued a press release announcing his retirement from the caber toss.  He will be missed.

BUD by Chelsea Galos

Bud rhymes with mud.

He’s very, very, very, very, very weird.

He’s hairy!

He looks like like a tall, tall bear that has long hair.

He’s like Homer because when he thinks about beer or girls he drools.

Your Friend,

Chelsea

Highland Games a big success!

SPEDs from all over the world were on hand for the 1999 annual SPED Gathering and the festival organizers termed it a rousing success.

Festival attendance was at an all-time high.   "We really appreciate everyone coming out here today and hope they have a good time" said festival staffer Mom Lamarca.

Remember to all come back next year!
